After a 20-year investigation into the identity of infamous skyjacker D.B. Cooper, Principia Media will premiere a documentary detailing its case, inclusive of an eyewitness account in Cle Elum. The town is most notable for being nearest to the drop zone after the skyjacking and is where Cooper, now identified as Walter Reca, stopped for a cup of coffee and to make a phone call, leading to a chance encounter with resident, Jeff Osiadacz. The documentary premiere event will be Saturday, July 14 at the Putnam Centennial Center at 1:00PM, and ticket sales will benefit local fire departments
