Bring your supplies or use ours and come join in the fun making greeting cards. This is a free, informal workshop and open to the community on Tuesday, November 21st from 4:00-5:00 p.m. at the Senior Center. We will be sharing a lot of colors of card stock, envelopes, glue sticks, scissors, paper cutters, stamps, ribbon, stickers and more. You can also bring any of your own supplies. You choose what you use and what you make, from birthday cards, to holiday greeting cards, to sympathy cards. Make as many as you want to take home. It’s great to have cards on hand to send to your friends and family when occasions arise. They are even more special when you have made them by hand.
The Upper Kittitas County Senior Center is hosting the workshop as the first of the new free Community Talks program. The program is designed to offer intergenerational, educational, cultural and social activities and presentations for all ages (youth with adult) and all community members. For the card making workshop, UKCSC has bags full of supplies that have been donated for this purpose. Come on down and enjoy the camaraderie of your community while we all create at the Centennial Center, 719 E. Third St., Cle Elum. For more information please contact the UKCSC Executive Director, Lori at 509-674-7530 or email: centerdir23@gmail.com
