JUNETEENTH - Community Celebration

EVENT DETAILS:
The Juneteenth Community Celebration commemorates June 19, 1865, marking the moment enslaved people in Texas learned they were free. 

Unity Park
4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. • 405 N. Pearl St.
This free community event will feature a brief opening program followed by live music, family-friendly entertainment, face painting, and opportunities for community connection. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy a welcoming outdoor gathering.

Kittitas County Historical Museum
10 a.m. - 7 p.m. • 114 E. 3rd Ave
Stop in to see an exhibit highlighting the history and culture of African Americans in Kittitas County.

HOSTED BY:
Black Grenade Entertainment, The City of Ellensburg’s Access, Advocacy, Equity and Engagement Commission, Kittitas County Historical Museum, Central Washington University, Kittitas Valley League of Women Voters and the Ellensburg Downtown Association.
