KEEN Winter Camp
When school’s out but parents are still working, KEEN has you covered! Join us for Winter Camp, a two-session winter adventure filled with outdoor fun, science, and cozy camp vibes. Kids will explore the Yakima Canyon in its quiet winter beauty—tracking animal footprints, learning how wildlife adapts to the cold, building snow shelters (weather permitting), and warming up with hot cocoa around the campfire.
Each day blends hands-on environmental education with classic winter play—crafts, games, stories, and plenty of fresh air. Campers will connect with nature, make new friends, and experience the wonder of winter in the shrub-steppe.

Winter Camp runs from 9am-3pm (daily times may be adjusted due to extreme weather conditions; families will receive updates the evening prior with any changes).

How much does WINTER CAMP cost? Snow Camp is $60 per day per camper. No discounts or financial aid is available at this time. Only 16 spots per day are currently available; a minimum of 12 campers a day are needed.
